Duisburg, 2024-07-02 – startport, a leading innovation hub for logistics and supply chain management, is pleased to announce its collaboration with LogCoop, the network for mid-sized logistics companies. The main focus is on connecting innovative startups and mid-sized companies. This partnership will drive further development and the promotion of innovation in logistics.
Promoting innovation in logistics
As part of this partnership, startport and LogCoop are pooling their resources and expertise to jointly tackle the logistics challenges of the future. LogCoop, with its 140 members from across Europe, offers a comprehensive range of services for mid-sized companies in the transport and logistics sector. The network enables the neutral pooling of individual resources and promotes the use of synergies.
“LogCoop is very much looking forward to this collaboration, as the ‘transfer of know-how’ of innovations and digital solutions in the areas of warehousing, transport and administration is an important task for our members,” explains LogCoop Managing Director Marc Possekel.
Benefits of the collaboration
The collaboration offers exciting opportunities for both sides. LogCoop is opening up its network to introduce innovative startups and forward-looking ideas to its members. This creates a platform for knowledge exchange and promotes the development of sustainable solutions for the logistics industry. Specifically, startport startups will have the opportunity to get involved in LogCoop’s extensive network and present their concepts and products at events. This creates valuable contacts and opportunities for collaboration. In addition, startport and LogCoop are jointly planning to develop and deliver event formats. For example, a collaboration is planned as part of the event “FUTURE LOGISTICS – startport’s innovation trade fair”, which focuses on future trends in logistics.
Johannes Franke, Managing Director of startport, emphasizes: “The cooperation between startport and LogCoop is a milestone on the path to a competitive future for the logistics industry. Together, we will help mobilize the industry and, in particular, address digitalization and sustainability topics with innovative startup input.”
