Andreas Bartel succeeds Alexander Garbar.
A new chapter for startport!
We are pleased to announce that Andreas Bartel, Head of Corporate Communications at duisport – Duisburger Hafen AG, will additionally strengthen startport’s management.
Moving forward, he will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of our innovation hub alongside Johannes Franke.
With this step, we are strengthening the connection between innovation, communication, and network management to shape the future of logistics and industry even more effectively.
At the same time, we bid farewell to Alexander Garbar, who is embarking on new paths after almost 10 years at Duisburger Hafen AG and many years at the helm of startport. We sincerely thank him for his commitment and tireless dedication!
In his farewell post, Alexander writes:
“Looking back on this decade, I am grateful for the countless projects and forward-looking topics that we were able to initiate, shape, and successfully implement together. We have achieved an enormous amount – but what remains most important in the end are the people.”
We can only echo these words. We wish Alexander all the best for his new challenge starting October 1st!
