Duisburg, July 28, 2025 – On July 1, 2025, the collaboration between startport, the innovation platform in Duisburg Port, and Hero Group GmbH, a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions with a focus on sustainability and digitalization, officially began. The partnership centers on a common goal: the development and application of AI-based, automated, and environmentally friendly solutions for the supply chain.

The collaboration kicked off with an intensive workshop on July 4 at Hero Group’s Bielefeld site. Under the motto “Ready for the Logistics of Tomorrow,” current developments, trends, and concrete applications of Artificial Intelligence in fleet management, dispatch, tour optimization, and the automation of administrative processes were discussed.
