Duisburg, April 28, 2026 – startport, the Duisburg-based innovation hub for logistics and industry, today announces its sharpened strategic focus and a comprehensive rebranding. After eight years of successful growth, startport is repositioning itself as an operational implementation partner, guiding companies from challenge to implemented solution, thereby creating measurable added value. The new brand identity visualizes this development and its mission as the industry’s “innovation pilot.”
Since its founding in 2017, startport has developed into a central player in the logistics ecosystem. With a network of over 50 established partners and more than 200 innovation drivers, over 40 projects have been successfully completed, and more than 1,000 solutions are identified and evaluated annually. In view of a logistics industry under enormous pressure due to volatile markets, stricter regulations, and intense competition, startport is now refining its role to support partners even more effectively.
“Together we transform logistics”
“Over the past eight years, we have built a strong network and provided important impulses. But the market is changing rapidly, and our partners no longer need non-binding ideas, but reliable support in implementation,” says Johannes Franke, Managing Director at startport. “Our analysis has shown: it doesn’t take a revolution, but precision. As an operational enabler, we will take responsibility for the entire process – from identifying the right innovation to its successful deployment in core business. For us, innovation is not an experiment, but the most precise lever to ensure stability, increase efficiency, and build future viability.”
New Mission: The Innovation Pilot for Logistics
The reorientation is reflected in startport’s new vision and mission. Under the vision “Together we transform logistics,” the mission is:
“startport is the innovation pilot for logistics: We navigate our partners from challenge to solution – we identify suitable innovations, support their implementation, and make existing products and services successfully visible in the market.”
This end-to-end approach positions startport as an operational growth partner focused on high-impact projects with true implementation readiness, taking responsibility for measurable results.
A New Face for a Clear Mission: The Rebranding
To make the strategic evolution visible, the entire brand identity has been modernized. The new logo symbolizes startport’s core role: as a hub that brings different players together and provides orientation in a complex ecosystem. The brand mark, reminiscent of routes and networks, stands for connection and stability.
The new color scheme of purple (innovative power) and turquoise (technological precision) on a dark anthracite background creates a modern, digital, and future-oriented look. In combination with the precise yet accessible typeface “Be Vietnam Pro,” the new design translates startport’s mission into a clear visual language: creating connections that work.
Focused Service Modules for Measurable Impact
The reorientation is manifested in four clearly structured and scalable service modules:
- Scouting, Matching & Implementation: Identification of precisely fitting, innovative solutions for specific challenges and support from idea to proof of concept in real pilot projects.
- Events: Access to an exclusive network through targeted exchange formats that promote networking and collaboration – from strategic conception to operational implementation.
- Communication: Support in clearly positioning innovations and products in the market through professional PR, social media strategies, and content creation to sustainably strengthen partners’ visibility and market impact.
- Workshops: Tailored conception, moderation, and execution of workshops on individual topics – from Controlling 2.0 to the future of the warehouse and strategic team-building measures.
“Our new branding is the visual translation of our mission. It is clear, precise, and to the point – just like our modular services,” says authorized signatory Andrea Peters. “We look forward to tackling the central challenges of logistics together with our partners and achieving real, measurable impact.”
