The fifth edition of the innovation trade fair in Duisburg was a complete success. The new Live Tech Expo and an interactive AI masterclass proved to be real crowd-pullers.

New highlights such as the outdoor tent & masterclass
The two major innovations of the anniversary year were particularly well received. The “Live Tech Expo”, held outdoors for the first time, became the central attraction. In the spacious marquee, exhibitors showcased hardware innovations live and in action, such as the inventory drone and mobile warehouse robotics. The strong interest highlighted the enormous need to see technologies not only on paper, but in real-world use.

The new, interactive “CooKI” masterclass also proved to be a complete success. The hands-on workshop, in which participants tested an AI for quality control on cookies, was fully booked. The format conveyed the potential of artificial intelligence in logistics in an entertaining way and generated enthusiastic feedback.
Innovations should be made tangible
“We are overwhelmed by the positive response and the continued support,” said Jana Honeftidis, Project Manager of FUTURE LOGISTICS.
“The weather did not dampen the mood—quite the opposite. It showed how committed and weatherproof our community is. The aisles were full, the conversations intense, and the energy was fantastic. The success of the Live Tech Expo in particular confirms our course of making innovation even more tangible.”

The contributions from industry leaders such as Ingo Brauckmann (LOXXESS), Amina Strünck (HAVI), Transport Minister Oliver Krischer and Lars Nennhaus (duisport) also provided valuable input and sparked in-depth discussions. The museum’s unique atmosphere once again offered the perfect setting for networking at the highest level.
Planning for FUTURE LOGISTICS 2027 has already begun.
