We would like to invite you to a new Deep Dive Session at startport in the Inner Harbor. On September 25, 2025 (2:30 PM – 6:30 PM), we will be addressing the topic of Intermodal Transport of the Future.

Stay one step ahead in the digital world! Our Deep Dive Session offers exclusive insights into the latest trends and current challenges of intermodal transport.

The Deep Dive will kick off with Matti Berndt from bloog Consulting and his keynote “Visions for Intermodal Transport 2040”. The focus will be on topics such as digitalization, sustainability, and infrastructure – key areas for future-proof mobility.

Following this, Stefan Kirch from Nevomo will take us into a world of new technologies with his keynote “The magnetification of railways”, demonstrating how magnetic propulsion concepts could revolutionize the rail system.

In the Gallery Walk “Future of Intermodal Transport in 90 Seconds”, various startups will present their ideas and projects concisely and creatively – an interactive format that encourages participation and discussion. The following startups have confirmed their participation so far:

  • Conroo digitizes communication between drivers, terminals, and depots, thereby reducing waiting times in the logistics process.
  • Datensonar optimizes container terminal processes with AI, shortening handling times and increasing transparency.

  • graphworks.ai analyzes complex data relationships with AI-powered graph databases, making logistics networks more transparent.
  • 5U AI provides logistics teams with a reliable AI workforce that communicates via email, chat, TMS & Co., automates manual processes, and thus efficiently scales logistics processes.

The event concludes with a panel discussion on “Challenges & Opportunities in the Interplay of Transport Modes”, where experts from various fields will exchange their perspectives and jointly discuss solutions.
