Starting Point
In innovation and transformation projects, solutions are often discussed too early, before the underlying challenge has been sufficiently narrowed down and described. This leads to vague problem definitions and makes it harder to derive suitable solution spaces.
Workshop Goal
This half-day workshop enables participants to analyze challenges in a more structured way, formulate them more precisely, and derive robust search fields for innovation. The focus is explicitly on the phase before scouting – that is, the transition from the challenge to a clearly defined search field.
Workshop Design
The workshop combines methodological input with direct application to concrete practical examples. Participants learn beginner-friendly tools that require no prior knowledge and can be used immediately in innovation and partner discussions.
Outcomes for Participants:
- A shared understanding of the problem space and solution space
- A structured approach to analyzing challenges
- Practical methods for developing robust problem descriptions
- An approach for deriving concrete search fields and success criteria
